How do you uncheck all songs in itunes on a mac

I've just been tapping one of the first songs in the full list and hitting shuffle, then skipping from there.

Apple Music syncing unchecked songs, renamed stock playlists- what?

First issue might be due to the new way apple music gives you access to all your songs if they have that song available on in iTunes' music selection. To just show songs actually downloaded to the device you can try to remove music that isn't downloaded on the device by: Open Apple Music app Tap on My Music Bottom right corner of app Tap on the drop down menu to change how music is sorted. Should say "Show Music Available Offline". I would look through playlists and sync settings a bit more.

The playlists parts sounds as if syncing didn't bring over the data properly for the lists. I would uncheck all playlists in iTunes and sync then recheck the wanted lists and sync.

This should remove all lists then re-add them. To shuffle all music the best way I have found is just to use siri. Hope this helps, let us know if the playlists sync back appropriately. If they don't you might want to try backing up all your data and restoring the iPhone to make sure its not glitchy software.
